How to Grow Tomatoes in our Garden

        Tomatoes are one of the easiest and most popular garden vegetables to grow. Their sweet, juicy fruit and versatility make them an ideal addition to many dishes, while their hardiness and simplicity make them very easy for even beginning gardeners to grow.

Selecting of Seeds

        Select a Mature tomato & Squeeze directly through the soil, cover the seeds by soil, in pot or land also, or you can also buy tomato seeds from the shop, By Soaking it for 24 hours and the use for planting, Pore little amount of water when soil becomes dry, Now, Seeds are sprout out in 1 to 2 weeks, 

 

    Growing plants in Pots :

    Once the tomatoes are grown up to 4 to 5 inches the place it in a separate pot, use 20 inches diameter, 18 to 24 inches deep stick one or two plants in one pot, stick the plants 3 inches deep and make sure the pot has drainage holes to drain the excess of water, Pore water once in a day.

Growing plants directly in the land surface :

    Once the tomatoes are grown up to 4 to 5 inches, then place the plants up to 1 feet distance stick the plants 3 inches deep, direct from the sunlight, Pore water once in a day, and they love the sun. They prefer to soak up 6-8 hours of full sun every day.  use compose use organic Compose monthly once for better Result.

 

Organic Compost Preparation :

        Take a Huge Tup or Plastic Bucket, Drop Holes on all Sides, Expect at the top of the lid, Put some Dry leaves, at the bottom on the top put some organic waste (Vegetable Wastes) put Some soil, if  you have earthworms in the soil it will make good compost, repeat the same process until you reach to the neck of the bucket leave some space at the top for air circulating, Pore Some water at the top of the compost and close the tup, open the tup once in a week mix it will and close it, the organic waste turn to organic mixture within 30 to 45 days now it is ready to use directly to use to the plants

Pinch and Prune for More Tomatoes

    Pinch and remove suckers that develop in the crotch joint of two branches. They won’t bear fruit and will take energy away from the rest of the plant.

    However, go easy on pruning the rest of the plant. You can thin out a few leaves to allow the sun to reach the ripening fruit, but it's the leaves that are photosynthesizing and creating the sugars that give flavor to your tomatoes. Fewer leaves will mean fewer sweet tomatoes.

    Tomatoes need up to 80 days to fully mature
